Most people I work with have already tried multiple approaches. They’ve adjusted their diet, removed foods, added supplements… and still feel like something isn’t fully resolving. That’s usually because the issue isn’t a single food or deficiency. It’s a pattern in how the body is functioning.

My role is to help you identify that pattern, reduce unnecessary stress on your system, and build a way of eating that supports regulation, recovery, and long-term stability.

I know how frustrating that missing puzzle piece can be, because I had to find it for myself…

From Medical Mystery to True Healing

For as long as I can remember, I have had to fight for my health. While others seemed to navigate life with effortless energy, my baseline was a lifetime of quiet struggles. I was constantly managing symptoms, feeling out of sync, and trying to find a routine and way of eating that worked for a body that always felt a bit fragile.

I thought I knew how to manage my health but then came a work contract to Bali, and what was a lifelong struggle suddenly spiraled into a terrifying crisis.

Out of nowhere, I was hit with severe, unexplained neurological symptoms. Deep, paralyzing fatigue left me barely able to get out of bed, a heavy brain fog made it difficult to focus on simple conversations, and my body went completely off the rails.

I did what anyone would do: I went to standard medical doctors. I ran blood panels, saw specialists, and waited anxiously for answers. But time after time, the tests came back “normal.” I was told everything was fine, yet I felt completely broken. Standard medicine was failing to find the root cause, leaving me with temporary band-aids for systemic issues that had been brewing for years.

Refusing to accept that this was my new normal, I began seeking alternative paths. It wasn’t until I connected with a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and looked at my health through a functional, holistic lens that I finally got my answer: severe copper toxicity.

Discovering that heavy metal toxicity was driving my neurological chaos changed everything. By shifting my approach to functional nutrition and focusing on targeted detoxification, gut healing, and deeply nourishing my nervous system I finally gave my body the tools it actually needed to repair. For the first time in my entire life, I didn’t just manage my symptoms. I truly began to heal.

I share this because I get it. I know the exhaustion of dealing with chronic symptoms that no one can explain, and the unique frustration of a lifetime spent wondering what it feels like to just feel good. My journey led me to master functional nutrition so that you don’t have to navigate the confusing, overwhelming path to healing all by yourself.

I was referred to Erica by a friend to see if she could help me with an old torn labrum shoulder injury that was still bothersome at times.  We met several times and discussed my goals and she put together a comprehensive plan that addressed the injury plus other goals of mine, including weight loss and help with nutrition.  She is a patient teacher and I felt like she truly listened to me and wanted me to succeed. The exercises she showed me have helped my shoulder strength and pain and the nutrition plan has resulted in some weight loss but more importantly overall better health.
